About Dr. Webb
Spending most of his childhood in central Louisiana, Dr. Webb began his higher education at the University of Louisiana at Monroe (formerly Northeast Louisiana University). Designated as a National Merit Scholar, he was admitted to the University as an Early Admissions student.
Immediately following the completion of his undergraduate degree, the 19-year-old graduate began his studies in the MD program at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana. There, he received his Doctorate of Medicine degree and returned to Monroe to complete his internship at E.A. Conway Hospital/LSU Medical Center-Monroe. There he rotated internships in Internal Medicine, Intensive Care, Surgery, Pediatrics, Radiology and OB/GYN. This experience, teamed with a vast amount of time spent in Emergency Medicine provided Dr. Webb with significant knowledge of multiple fields of practice.
Following his Internship, Dr. Webb continued at E.A. Conway Hospital/LSU Medical Center-Monroe, as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Surgery in the field of Emergency Medicine. During this time, he was responsible for the supervision and training of interns in an Emergency Room with large patient volumes. It was during this time that Dr. Webb began his private practice at Coats Clinic in Mer Rouge, Louisiana, where he later opened his full time private practice. Shortly after beginning full time practice, he was asked to serve as Chief of Medicine at Morehouse General Hospital, a position he held for six years. Through these years, Dr. Webb has offered excellent patient care for all ages, including children and geriatrics. This setting, in contrast to his practice in larger communities, sets Dr. Webb apart as a physician of strength and character, and as a friend, confidant and care-provider for all his patients.
Dr. Webb, along with his wife, Allison Shepherd Webb, R.N., work side by side to provide their patients a warm, comforting environment, as well as excellent medical care. The couple resides in Westlake, Texas where they enjoy spending time with family and friends and keeping up with the hectic schedule of their children, George William, Samuel and Annabelle. Their son Sean resides in Austin, Texas. Dr. Webb, a gifted musician, enjoys spending his free time playing the guitar and playing in a band with friends.
